Founded in Fauquier County in 2024 by Chris Forsten, former Division I athlete and founder of Divergent Performance, GRIT Baseball was created to offer something different: a program where young athletes can grow their skills, compete at a high level, and still love the game.

GRIT Baseball is a single 8U team and quickly proved its model—securing multiple tournament championships across Northern Virginia in its first year 24/25. Now entering the third season of fall 2025, GRIT continues to grow with our rising 9U players and beyond.
