Chris Forsten, founder of Divergent Performance, launched "Grit," an 8U baseball team in Fauquier County in the summer of 2024. The team engages in weekly practices, participates in speed and strength classes at Divergent Performance, and competes in games and local tournaments in the region throughout the fall and spring seasons.

Current practices are held in Fauquier. Players have access to Divergent Performance’s comprehensive baseball training resources, classes, and hitting analysis technology year-round.
