GRIT

POWERED BY DIVERGENT PERFORMANCE

GRIT Baseball was established with a visionary goal: to innovate youth sports development. Our focus is on enhancing the quality of play rather than the quantity of play.

Historically, young athletes had two primary avenues: recreational (rec) baseball and travel baseball, each with its distinct advantages and drawbacks. GRIT Baseball introduces a transformative approach, offering players the chance to grow in a competitive, effective, and age-appropriate environment.

Coach Chris, the founder of Divergent Performance, has devoted his career to the athletic development of individuals across all ages. With over a decade of experience, he has been instrumental in advancing some of the area’s top talent. At GRIT Baseball, we leverage his extensive expertise to ensure that every player achieves their full potential.

GRIT PHILOSOPHY

At GRIT Baseball, our culture is anchored in the true essence of grit: a blend of passion and perseverance aimed at achieving long-term goals. This concept forms the backbone of our training philosophy and team ethos, emphasizing resilience and dedicated effort in pursuit of excellence.

Grit is powered by Divergent Performance. The mathematical term "divergent," means to "have no finite limits." This represents our belief system—here, limiting beliefs are non-existent. We encourage our athletes to think beyond traditional boundaries, fostering an environment where every challenge is an opportunity for growth.

Our primary goal is to deliver one of the highest quality baseball experiences ever conceived. However, our vision extends beyond the diamond. We are committed to cultivating high-quality habits and mindsets in young people. We aim to develop resilient individuals who are prepared to tackle tough challenges head-on.

We often see mental toughness in short supply, we strive to set our athletes apart. GRIT Baseball is not just about playing a sport; it's about building a community known for its fortitude and perseverance—true GRIT.
